The north Georgia mountains woke up to a light dusting of snow this morning.
It was beautiful on the rolling hills at Cadence.  And it looked as though a
white blanket had fallen on the roof of the  barn, and along the road that
takes us to the miles of riding trails on the ridge and beyond.

Each day the horses who board at the Cadence barn are turned out in paddocks
for exercise. Sometimes they are walked out individually or in pairs by an
intern or trained employee.  And sometimes they’re taken out by Dave Seay
with the help of one of his horses, Dove or Santee.
